An Adventure Inside Historic Angkor
Angkor Zipline operates within the forested landscape of Angkor Archaeological Park, one of the world’s most important cultural heritage areas. Angkor was the centre of the Khmer Empire for several centuries and contains temples, reservoirs, canals, roads and settlements created between approximately the ninth and fifteenth centuries.
UNESCO inscribed Angkor on the World Heritage List in 1992. The protected area is valuable not only for its monuments but also for its cultural landscape, forests, waterways and living communities.
The zipline course does not take visitors across the temples themselves. It provides an outdoor forest experience within the wider Angkor park. Guests must respect all archaeological, environmental and community-protection rules while travelling to and from the activity.
What to Expect
Registration and Equipment Fitting
After arriving, participants register and complete the required liability documents.
A member of the team will provide and fit:
Safety helmet
Harness
Connecting equipment
Other protective equipment required for the course
Guests must provide accurate information about their health, height, weight and age.
Every participant should tell the staff immediately if the harness or helmet feels uncomfortable.
Safety Briefing
Before entering the course, trained Sky Rangers explain:
How the equipment works
Correct body position
When to move
Where to place hands
How to use the bridges
What to do at each platform
Emergency instructions
Prohibited behaviour
Listen carefully even if you have used a zipline before. Equipment and procedures can differ between operators.
Training and First Zipline
Participants normally begin with an introductory section where the guides check that everyone understands the instructions. The Sky Rangers handle the technical safety procedures while guests focus on maintaining the correct position and following commands.
Elevated Forest Course
The course moves between platforms constructed among tall trees.
Depending on the selected package, the experience may include:
Single ziplines

The number of course elements depends on whether you book the Silver or Gold programme.
Abseil Descent
The final section may include a controlled abseil descent from an elevated platform.
The guide controls the procedure and provides instructions. Guests should not handle technical equipment unless asked.
Guided Nature Walk
The official Silver and Gold packages include a guided nature-trail walk after the zipline experience. This provides an opportunity to slow down, observe the forest and learn about the surrounding environment. Wildlife sightings are possible but never guaranteed.

The Silver course is the shorter option and is suitable for first-time zipliners or travellers with limited time.
Canopy duration: Approximately 1–1.5 hours

Weather and Seasonal Conditions
November to February
Generally cooler and comfortable, especially during morning sessions. A light sweater may be useful early in the day.
March to May
Conditions can become hot. Choose an early session, use sunscreen and drink sufficient water.
June to October
Rain can create a green and atmospheric forest experience. Bring a raincoat and wear shoes with good grip. Light rain may not automatically cancel the activity. Severe weather, strong wind or lightning can cause delays, course changes or cancellation.
The operator decides whether conditions are safe.
Cancellation and Booking Conditions
Advance booking is recommended, especially during weekends and the November-to-February high season. The operator’s public pages show different cancellation wording. One tour page mentions a full refund before 24 hours, while the general FAQ describes rescheduling rather than refunds.
Therefore, guests should obtain the cancellation conditions applying to their exact package in writing before payment.
Also confirm:
Booking date
Start time
Pickup point

Passenger names

Parents should consider whether their child can:
Follow instructions
Climb stairs
Walk short forest trails
Remain calm at height

Complete the entire course
A parent or legal guardian must sign the required waiver for participants under 18.
The Silver course is generally the better introduction for younger or less-confident guests.

Walk short distances independently
Climb steep stairs
Maintain balance
Fit safely into the harness
